Picking the Right Frames

Whether you wear prescription eyeglasses or sunglasses it is essential to have a great pair of frames. At Eye Doctors of Arizona, we have full service optical at select locations. We always aim to make sure that you leave with the best frames for you.

Picking the Right Frames

The First Step to Great Glasses

The first step to having a great pair of glasses is to see your eye doctor. Once you have your prescription, you'll find our full service opticals with experienced opticians who are committed to providing you with the right lenses and the right frames for you.

Factoring Face Shape

Convention says that round faces look best in square or rectangle shaped frames. Oval faces should have a frame with a strong bridge that has a strong geometric feel. Square faces look good in oval or round eyeglasses. Cat eye glasses are a nice look for a diamond face. Bottom heavy frames are nice for heart-shaped faces with broad foreheads.

When it comes to the color of your frames, skin tone is a good guide. Warm skin tones do best with warm colors, such as tortoise colors, brown and green, while cooler skin with pink undertones looks good in silver, black, pink and purple.

The material of frames is also important. Athletes need frames and lenses that are more pliable and resist breakage when they are active but are also protective to the eyes. Some lenses and lens coatings are designed for people who spend a lot of the time in front of a computer screen. the goal is to reduce the amount of eye strain from the blue light emitted from screens.

The style factor is important for many people. Some focus on affordability, while others look to big-name designers to help their glasses represent who they are. At Eye Doctors of Arizona, we carry many popular brands including

Testimonials

Reviews From Our Satisfied Patients

I recommend Eye Doctors of Arizona. The entire staff is always happy, pleasant, and helpful. Dr. Heller is wonderful... always thorough, and accurate. An excellent doctor. I was fortunate to meet his second son, Ben, who will be joining the practice soon. Now with their two offices, it is even more convenient to book appointments.
